Spreading Hope Through Art

(Above) The PPICS SOUND program (Paint, Pictures, Sound) promotes the learning of painting, photography, music, and literacy for 50 unhoused or displaced youth in DR Congo.

Onatti Foundation has partnered with the Café Music Smile Center to create a framework to fight against juvenile delinquency and the different forms of violence and discrimination in the environments of unhoused youth. Our belief is that training more children in the arts is an exceptional means of personal fulfillment. It is vital that we maintain an unwavering conviction that one person can and always does make a difference and that each person has a unique and important mission in this life.

Starting this upcoming year, the Onatti Foundation will enrich the program by establishing socio-cultural activities and a food assistance program to help promote for attendance and reduce the time that children spend on the street. In the hopes to reduce juvenile delinquency, we will collect donations of equipment and funds to support the Café Music Smile Center in supporting the educational and emotional needs of the 50 kids under their care.

An art program is often the healing glue that mends a child’s fractured life when everything else seems to be falling apart. Ultimately, it helps society as a whole. When children are taught creativity skills their confidence grows as does their ability to excel in other educational areas.

Consider donating today and make an unforgettable impact in the lives of these young boys and girls!
